Working with animals has always been my passion! I received my Insurance diploma in 1995 and was an underwriter for 17 years, but I was never truly happy. I joined the hospital in September 2018, and I am so grateful to be given this opportunity to finally be part of a great team of fellow animal lovers. When it comes to veterinary medicine, I am mostly interested in creating that special bond between the owners, their pets, and the clinic. I want people to feel they can trust me and understand that I am a passionate animal lover and am genuinely interested in keeping their pet happy and healthy! My first pet was a cat named Sandy. She lived to be 15, and my parents adopted her shortly after I was born. What I love most about my job is that I get to work with a wonderful team and learn so much from them! I get to greet the owners and their pets, give them comfort and compassion and see them leave the office knowing their concerns have been taken care of! My favourite thing about the clinic is that I get to work with passionate animal lovers like myself! We have a lot of fun there! One fun fact about myself is that I love going to concerts! I've probably been to at least 30 shows in my lifetime from Pearl Jam to Metric, to Tool, and David Bowie. I love music, dancing, and singing my heart out!
